Wilfredo Carrero
Born and raised in New York city. He's also a seasoned guitar player and it shows. At the age of seven, his Father bought him his first guitar; although he Didn't actually start playing until he was 11 years old. His main influences were Jose Feliciano, Carlos Santana, Jimmy Page, And Tony Iommi in the 1970s. Willie has shared the stage with the likes of Christafari, Mylon Lefevre, Morris Chapman, Angelo and Veronica, Jon Gibson, Patty Cabrera, David O'Neill, Scott Anderson, Ray Vega, Loris Holland, Rae Serrano. Among his recording credits, Willie was the featured lead guitarist on the Metro Praise live CD ( DRP Sunset records, Nashville) and was a special Guest on the 2003 released by RAIN get it right CD ( True Life records). Also was a guest on the 2004 release CD W.R.B. ( Wilson Rodriguez Band). Willie has written and recorded 20 instrumentals and still writing.

Believe it or not I used a Tascam DR-07 digital recorder placed in front of the speaker cab instead of a conventional mic. The equipment setup is very simple....I used was a Carvin DC 127 guitar, a 1984 Mesa Boogie mark 2C+ short head plugged into a boogie speaker cabinet loaded with a vintage Altec 417-8C speaker.
This ballad song is an
original song I composed but with The Lord's help. I would not have been able to write this simple tune no other way. The end section of the song reflects this passage in the book of John 20:21,22.
